Purpose

To ensure the safety and well-being of both our clients and staff, A&J Limousine Services LLC strictly enforces a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding intoxicating substances.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and representatives of A&J Limousine Services LLC, regardless of their role or position. It covers all company premises, vehicles, and any location where company business is conducted, including offsite work locations and during all shifts.

Policy Statement

A&J Limousine Services LLC strictly prohibits the use, possession, distribution, or sale of intoxicating substances—including alcohol, illegal drugs, and the misuse of prescription medications—while on duty, on company property, in company vehicles, or while conducting company business.

Policy Details

  1. Possession or Use: Employees must not possess, use, or be under the influence of intoxicating substances while on duty, on company property, or while representing A&J Limousine Services LLC.
  2. Distribution or Sale: Employees must not distribute, sell, or attempt to distribute or sell intoxicating substances during work hours, on company property, or in company vehicles.
  3. Prescription Medications: Employees using prescribed medication that may impair their ability to perform job duties safely must inform their supervisor or Human Resources prior to reporting for duty. Affected employees may be required to provide a doctor’s note or additional information to ensure safe operation of company vehicles and services.

Consequences of Violation

Any violation of this policy will result in immediate disciplinary action, which may include termination of employment. A&J Limousine Services LLC reserves the right to conduct drug and alcohol testing in accordance with applicable laws to enforce this policy and ensure workplace safety.

Confidentiality

All information concerning an employee’s use of intoxicating substances or any related disclosures will be handled with strict confidentiality and shared only with those who need to know, in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

Support for Employees

A&J Limousine Services LLC is committed to supporting employees who seek help with substance-related issues. Employees may access resources such as our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or contact Human Resources for assistance and guidance.

Acknowledgment and Agreement

All employees are required to review, understand, and acknowledge their acceptance of this policy as a condition of employment. Failure to comply with this policy will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
